Inefficient cleavage of Met-Thr und Met-Ser

Protocol :

1.        Protein + 5 % Mercapto-ethanol, pH =8.0 24h

2.        Dialysis

3.        Dissolve 5 mg/ml in 70 % formic acid

4.        + 50x excess of BrCN in 70 % formic acid  

5.       16-24 h, RT      

6.        + 15x excess H2O, lyophilize
