Solutions

 

 A

17,3 g sodium citrate and 10 g sodium carbonate (water-free) are

dissolved in 50 ml of dest. Water. 10 ml of a 1,73% copper sulfate (w/v)

solution are added and completed with water to 100 ml.

 B

6 % NaOH (w/v) in dest. water

 

• The reaction proceeds at room temperature.
• The sample should contain about 0,1 - 4 mg of protein.
• Reaction time: 10-15 min
• Wavelength: 330 nm or 540 nm.
• Calibration range: 0,5 - 5,0 mg (e.g. with serum albumin)
